I am a superintendent who leads through presence, clarity, and follow-through—keeping students at the center while ensuring adults have clear expectations and support.
I am visible in schools, invest in professional growth that strengthens daily instruction, and use research to inform decisions without chasing initiatives. My leadership reflects small-community sensibilities: building trust through relationships, using local strengths, and solving problems with the resources at hand.
How I Lead:
- Presence: Regular time in classrooms and buildings
- Predictability: No surprises for boards, staff, or families
- Student-first decisions: Even when difficult for adults
- Continuous improvement: Focused, sustainable, and evidence-informed
